A spectral kappa takes shape from thick, interlocking chains that shimmer in ethereal blue, its body crouched low on slick river stones at the edge of dark water. The links wrap and braid into powerful limbs and a hunched torso, while a birdlike beak and glowing eye give it an ancient, watchful presence.
