The ice-chain Ent towers like a living glacier, its entire body woven from thick, metallic links frozen over with pale blue frost. Each chain twists into the shape of corded muscles and gnarled roots, forming trunk-like legs that burrow into the snow and arms that end in clawed, branchlike fingers dripping icicles.
